Workshop Additive Manufacturing

Just in time for the start of the carnival on 11.11.2021, our workshop on the topic of "Additive Manufacturing" took place again, despite Corona, as an attendance event.

Under the title "Additive manufacturing - from material to strength assessment", results from a joint research project ROAD3D were shown together with Aalen University of Applied Sciences, which was rounded off by customer presentations from OHB and Carbolite Gero.

If we believe the feedback forms of the participants, the "good and lively exchange between the participants" took place in a "very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere".
The format we chose is also "very suitable for other topics".

I would like to thank all the speakers for their interesting presentations and all the participants for the interesting discussions.
In particular, however, I would also like to thank the organising team, especially Maik Brehm, for the excellent organisation and smooth running of the event.

We will keep the format with presentations from academia and practice not only for the topic of additive manufacturing.

You can look forward to more topics in 2022.

Until then, I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas, peace and tranquillity, and a peaceful New Year 2022 (did I really write that now??!).

Yours Stefan Merkle
