Rubber is a witches‘ brew for numerical calculation through numerical simulation. It is not enough to use a tensile test to fit a material model, but you have to know what can happen with rubber in order to make usable statements.
Most calculation engineers usually do not have time to deal intensively with the material rubber and, to put it mildly, apply the material laws in the software packages somewhat blue-eyed.
We want to counteract this with the present e-book in order to make the world of rubber calculation a little easier and clearer.
