Help, my structural engineer is dying....

It doesn't have to be the worst, but we all get older and often a fruitful and satisfying collaboration with the freelancer of your choice ends with their well-deserved retirement.

It doesn't have to be the worst, but we all get older and often a fruitful and satisfying collaboration with the freelancer of your choice ends with their well-deserved retirement.

This tears a considerable gap in the internal processes of your company, because the freelancer was very familiar with all upcoming topics and also the calculation approaches fit. Thus, the end customers were also satisfied.

Now to train a new man is often difficult, because the calculation or the computational proof is often a necessary evil, demanded by the end customer, but not part of your own core competence.

If you have the same or a similar problem, we have good news for you:

We offer to make the transition to retirement as simple and as easy as possible for you and your structural engineer/design engineer. Projects that the freelancer still wants to do will be done in cooperation with us, at the same time we will work one or more permanent employees of ours into your in-house calculation topics, who can later take over the calculations / simulations / verifications completely.

Knowledge of special standards? You can safely assume that we do.

Licenses and computing power? That is no longer an issue for you. We have the necessary licenses and can also calculate very large and computationally time-intensive CAE models on our premises.

There is only one thing where we have to pass: We can't promise you that our employee will be sitting in your office. Our calculation engineers are very experienced, some of them have families and therefore do not like it if they work in Nuremberg today and in Munich tomorrow. On the other hand, due to the very low fluctuation in our company, they are also available to you on a long-term basis.

Personal appointments to get to know each other or to discuss projects in your company are of course no problem.

To facilitate external communication, we have taken precautions:

We offer the possibility to perform calculations via so-called terminal servers in addition to the usual Webex conferences. I.e. we or you can work on one and the same calculation model if necessary. This is especially helpful if you want to discuss results on the actual calculation model to show certain effects or to clarify boundary conditions.

We would be happy to set up a corresponding connection for you, up to and including the rental of the necessary hardware and software.

The relevant knowledge of the common software packages ANSYS, ABAQUS, CFX, STAR-CD and many others can also be taken for granted.

Are you curious?

We are looking forward to your call and would be pleased to present our possibilities in a non-binding appointment in your or our company.

Your Stefan Merkle

PS: You are welcome to forward our contact to your structural engineer, freelancer or freelance calculation engineer. He will certainly be pleased if he is still allowed to work, but no longer has to.
