In times of ever-increasing knowledge, specialists are in demand who can profitably integrate the advantages of other specialists from other disciplines into their own work in order to be able to design products, components or structures even more efficiently and in a more targeted manner.

This workshop is primarily aimed at designers, project engineers and product development engineers who want to discover the advantages of calculation and simulation for themselves in order to work even more successfully for themselves and their company.

Using illustrative examples from practice, the following questions, among others, will be addressed:

• What is an engineering calculation or simulation?
• How can calculation and simulation shorten development times?
• When and at what point can calculations be profitably used in the development process?
• How must interfaces be defined?
• What is needed for a technical calculation?
